Manufacturing sector shall pave way to Engineers to beat the employability woes.

Msme sector is facing tremendous employability crunch in the manufacturing segment especially in mechanical engineering stream. Nowadays ITI, Diploma graduates are hard to find in manufacturing segment as they are working as delivery boys, drivers for the online driven start-ups.  Sales representative, storekeeper for various Shopping malls & FMG stores in metro cities, urban towns. The pay scale being the same & even more incentives, perks, additional benefits in par with manufacturing companies without much effort.

Every year more than 1.5 Million graduate as engineers in India out of which 0.25 million engineers pass out as mechanical engineers, yet industries are unable to employ right candidates in their organisation due to lack of skills as an armoury to their profile.

In the most recent decade immense number of colleges were added in India to give Engineering courses in which greater part of the diploma graduates were given a chance to join these colleges without paying gigantic fees as government gave expense repayment plan to numerous college under fee reimbursement scheme. Industries are looking for  ITI ,diploma candidates to  recruit ,but  today's statistics state  80% of the diploma graduates are engineers now.

These engineers would be the right solution to fill in the opportunities available in the market after rigorous training with the required skills provided by either company or any other Skill development training providers. Almost 90% of engineering industry is falling short of employees in the Cnc segment as operators & programmers roles and are unable to run all the three shifts in full throttle. . Working in the industries will be a daunting task for the engineers as their hands need to get filthy, work in shifts & not less than 9 hours per day.

Now its Msme sectors time to turn the tide to give an opportunity for the growing unemployed engineers in the market to beat the employment crunch to stay in the rat race and progress towards growth
