Their is lot of differences between these two but the main difference is that we control the atmosphere of the system like it's temperature humidity and dust and also recirculate the air again and again  but in refrigeration we just cooled down the system only ....... The law use for AC is mixing of stream and in refrigeration cooling only

the air conditioner is designed to remove vapor in air or should we call it dehumidifies, while refrigerator is designed to cool , or to lower the temperature up to freezing point, imagine if the refrigerator dehumidifies, the water in the ice tray will gone. :)

NONE same equations that govern AC are the same for a fridge, in uni its called refrigeration and we are taught one thing one set of equations. 

both AC and fridge remove energy (thermal, ie. kinetic) from one volume to another volume (space) which are not, should not be connected or else you are just wasting the effort.

the removal of said energy is done by a liquid which is actually doing work. so if there is indeed a difference its in the liquid used. cars use water, Ac uses Freon. both result in cooling, try to detect gravitational waves and they use helium and nitrogen in the same system to remove energy from the lab equipment. 

ALL remove humidity from the space involved as water condences on the area where its cold (the evaporator) the  inside the fridge and a room and its then moved outside where it is expelled by evaporation because well its hot.

check under your fridge, it has a collection tray for the water removed from the inclosure when it condenses due to the temp

The difference is an air conditioner blows cooled air to bring down the temperature. A refrigerator removes heat from an area to bring down the temperature.

Mostly the same.   The freon is different so it has different thermo characteristics but the system is the same. In the fridge the temps are below the freezing point so there is an added defrost clock and heaters.   A/C keeps evaporator above freezing so the heater and time clock aren't needed..

The are many difference between AC and Refrigeration. 

1) their cooling capacity in case of Refrigeration the temperature is very low (below 0 degree celcius)

2) AC is prime goal is maintaining the condition of the air (humidity. purefication, cooling/heating) inside the room.

Refrigeration is main goal is to extract the heat from the confined space, so that the temperature of the substances inside the confined space will decrease to the required value.

There are so many differences in a refrigerator and an air conditioner.

Broadly speaking, the major is in there operation a refrigerator only make things cooler while an air conditioner makes air good for us that includes controlling humidity removing dust and also controlling temperature.

Refrigeration is a part of Air Conditioning. 

Air Conditioning can be divided into Refrigeration, Heating, Addition/Removal of Moisture, Air Purity Control and Air Distribution Control.

The basic difference is that the Air Conditioner controls the humidity along with temperature while a Refrigerator controls the temperature.

1.Refrigeration removes the heat from the enclosed space where as AC cools the air and the circulates in the enclosed space

2.Refrigeration does not cater to latent heat load i.e it does not have any control over humidity whereas AC caters both latent as well as sensible load so it has temperature as well as humidity control

3.Refrigeration has no control over air quality whereas AC has filters to improve air quality

4.Refrigeration does not involve circulation of air as it only works on heat absorption for phase change of refrigerant in vapour cycle where as AC cools the air in air handling unit (AHU) and then circulates it through the space .

5.Refrigerants used in AC are not Fluro Carbons are these have a higher Global warming and Ozone depletion potential i.e these are harmful to humans in case of leakage

6.Refrigeration does not cater to Human comfort i.e it is mostly used for storage and you wont find comfort in refrigerated space because of extremely low temp and humidity change . On other hand AC keeps a control of both humidity and temperature as per the comfort graph made by organisation which fix standard in this case .

Refergirator aim is for cooling or reducing the temperature to desired point,while Air conditioner conditions the air as per requirement that may icludes changing its specific humidity, temperature either increase or decrease.
