The common use of the term production is in many contexts, within as well as outside an industry. Manufacturing, as opposed to this, usually finds its use in the industrial sector. Production is a broad category that includes manufacturing so it can be said that though all sorts of manufacturing falls in production, not all productions fall in manufacturing.

Manufacturing is the process in which we produce new developed products as like as trial pieces development parts.

But production is the process in which we convert the raw material to a finished product which is already devloped .

In the industrial sector: Manufacturing is the purchase and transformation of materials for sale. Production is the volume and type of products made with manufacturing activity.

Manufacturing is a paradigm that gives an idea about production following step by step by surveying, analyzing that market survey, dealing with consumer needs, designing as per requirements, Analyzing Designing on certain parameters, Analyzing product needs and materials requirements, market organization of design, prototype manufacturing, prototype manual testing and product manufacturing.

Production is fast forward repeatation of product manufacturing without actually follow the orderly steps of manufacturing again and again for that product.
