    Very good for learning about submerged pumps. The Velocity analyses were helpful
  1. The horizontal plate cools first. This is cos both of them are inserted in the fluid, air. The air around them are heated; and by natural convention, cool air goes down due to higher density and heated one stays up due to lighter density. Since the height of the vertical plate is above the horizontal one, it's cooling rate is a little below that of horizontal plate.
  2. Torque is the product of the force and perpendicular distance at the point where it can cause rotation effect on the body. It is measured in N-m, where Power is the rate of doing or dissipating work, it can also be explained as the work done per unit time. Power is actually a function of time. It is measured in joule/seconds or watt
