  1. Thank you for your response. From your opinion two things concluded... 1. As air will remove from small openings hence we can test vessels even at low pneumatic pressure. 2. If there’s no leakage found at 63 kg/cm2 hydraulic pressure then Vessel can sustain 63 kg/ cm2 pneumatic pressure also but it’s dangerous.
  2. Dear All, If a Mechanical equipment e.g. Centrifugal Pump or vessels is subjected to a Hydraulic Pressure Test at 63 kg/cm2 for 30 minutes. Equipment successfully passes hydraulic test. If the same equipment is subjected to pneumatic Test at 63 kg/cm2. Should equipment sustain pneumatic Test? Thanks for your valuable thoughts.
