The original poster said, "C.I engine has higher load carrying capacity to compare with S.I engine."

What exactly do you mean by "load carrying capacity"? Without a precise definition for this term, the question is unanswerable.

Power =Pm L A N/60 for both type of engine ,However Pm that is mean effective pressure is higher for CI engine due to higher compression ratio.CV of petrol is higher than diesel but effect of compression ratio is more to increase MEP.Apart from these CI engines are normally forced aspirated(Turbo charged etc)further increased MEP
