Hetal Patel 15
The term “Back Pressure” in automobile mechanics refers to the pressure, above atmospheric pressure, which inhibits the exhaust of an engine as measured in the manifold. The pressure is a resistance to free flow, and may be a result of a restriction in the exhaust system, a blockage, pressure developed by other exhaust components or a defect.
