Maintenance Engineer of a Diesel Engine Power Plant 16V52/55.

Recommended Posts

Fellow Mechanical Engineers,

Good day!

I'm Jake, Mechanical Engineer from University of San Jose - Recoletos, Cebu City, Philippines.

There is a famous saying for us, "When Mechanical Rest, the world Rusts." We mechanical engineers are active in making new ideas, updated in all aspects, passion for better ways and we should move forward! we should not be stagnant, there should be ang iggerness for us to learn new something, sharing our new ideas to our fellow engineers. That's why I'm so thankful for this opportunity to be a part this group.

As a Diesel Engine mechanical technician in Diesel Power Plant I execute preventive maintenance and most especially corrective maintenance. I have really passion in Diesel engines. Installation of spare parts like piston, cylinder head, crank bearing body and all other parts is for me very challenging on doing hands on. Mastery in 4 systems 1.) Cooling system 2.) Lube oil system 3.) Fuel oil system 4.) Starting & control air system is a must in this kind of work. Properties of fuel oil & lube oils like density, heating value, fire point, viscosity, TBN should be known to help more effective in maintaining a diesel engine.

I want to inspire others to not just work with passion but also to create a sense of urgency, iggerness to learn new things and invention that is more focused on helping/ preserving our environment that should be started today.

To the one who created this, admin.

Thank you and More power!!

God bless..

Who built this 16V52/55 engine? I don't recognize that designation.

Sir 16V52/55A means 16 cylinders V-type, 52 is bore diameter, 55 is length of stroke and A means its rated model. This engine follows the principle of Rodulf Diesel the one who invented the Diesel engine. Which it's fuel before is from peanut extracting to get its oil which is called a biofuel unlike nowadays we use a carbon fossil fuels which causes harm to our ozone layer.
