Movable clamp holder

I want to develop a clamp holder for inserting and viewing CNC clamps. But I want to be able to move the clamp in all directions. I thought of a Ball joint but maybe someone has a different idea? The clamp is 20 cm high and has a diameter of 16 cm, the weight is + - 20 kg.
Thank you in advance

Hi Tom,

Unfortunately, there terms "clamp" and "movable in all directions" when combined with CNC are just too ambiguous...is it a mill, a lathe, a jig-borer a press-brake, a sheet metal punch, an electronics placer....the list is endless as far a s CNC is concerned.

Ball joints are good ...but only up to a point;...they are restricted in control...a slider with a 360 rotator fixed on the bolt-axis can have exactly the same results especially when three are assembled together on perpendicular planes...and can offer control too...

Can you give a bit more detail?
